Odisha Society of Periodontology & Implantology (OSPI) saw its first day on 1st August, 2013 on the occasion of Oral Hygiene Day. The concept came into the mind to address the Odisha people with dental diseases and its management. It is founded by Dr. Md. Jalaluddin from Charibatia, Cuttack. Initially it was started by a handful of doctors now the number of members has reached to 54. This organisation conducts camps / CDE programmes and also oral health education camps. It is associated with NOCPI, LIONS Club of Cuttack and Rotary Club, Choudwar.
